General Info
You are purchasing my services and the digital file.
I own the Artwork, so I may do whatever I wish with the art, for example; Post it to other sites such as Discord, Twitter and my Carrd (portfolio)--with proper credit to you!
You may re-post an image from me with proper credit and do not claim it as your art!
You can use your commissioned art as decoration for your social media as long as it's a personal account and you're NOT making any profit from it. ( If you want to profit from it check my commercial section down below)
I will send you the full resolution picture (by email or through a google drive link), but my Signature will remain on it somewhere small.
I reserve the right to cancel/decline your order If I don't feel comfortable drawing it or you have been proved troublesome in any way.
You are free to print out the commission or even make whatever merchandising you want as long as it's for your PERSONAL use only and NOT for sale.
Following cases are considered commercial use
Reproducing and selling the artwork
If you want to order an illustration for commercial use it will be 25% - 50% higher than the price of the commission you ordered.
When you receive profit in the Media where you're using it and/or as a way to get attention ( like Youtube videos, credit cards, banners of personal sites, games, streams, etc. ) credit me for the artwork!
DO NOT ask me to draw in a different style. If you commission me, it's because you like my work, not because your favorite artist is busy.
By purchasing any of my services you are accepting my terms of service and are obligated to follow them. You promise that you won't violate these terms.
Violations will be added to my blacklist without any warnings.
Either temporary or permanent.
About Ordering and Payment
Completed forms are considered first (e-mails are required to fill out the form).
References must be clear and full in color. Pictures such as photos or screenshots from game characters are OK however, the result will look like my art style.
After sending your order to me and discussing the price I will send an invoice through PayPal to you. I will receive full payment before starting the commission. The high-quality files will be sent to you via google drive link or email once it's finished.
Payment must be made within 48 hours unless otherwise stated. If payment is not made in a timely manner, the commission will be canceled on the spot and you will be put back on the waiting list.
If your character is extremely detailed, I have the right to charge extra. This will be stated before you send the payment. You may switch out the character if you do not want to pay for detailed charges. I reserve the right to reject requests for high-detailed additions to commissions.
If a commissioner repeatedly commissions me but in the end always cancels the order, I will consider you a time-waster and blacklist you.
It is okay for you to upload watermarked versions to personal picture albums such as Photobucket, Weebly, toyhou.se, etc, but please credit me as ''YumikoVT" in the title/description of the upload.
Refund Rules
I can refund 100% of the payment ONLY If I have not started working on the sketch.
I will only refund you have a reasonable excuse.
Not Started: 100% Refund
Sketch: 50% Refund + Sketch is sent
Line Art: 25%% refund ( will be treated as ''Ink commission'')
Flat Colors: 10% refund (will be treated as “Flat Coloring Commission)
Completed Art: NO REFUNDS
Deadline
You may not set a deadline, however, few exceptions will be made if the situation/request is reasonable.
Rushing is not allowed.
Work Speed
I will try to finish your Commission as fast as I can, however, please be patient with me.
I will try to finish your commission between 1-3 weeks but it may take longer, it depends on my to-do list and motivation.
I also need more time If I have any other commissions to do before yours.
If you want a status update, please contact me via Twitter or Discord DMs.
The maximum you'll have to wait for your commission is 4-5 months. ( in the worst case, which is not the usual but it may happen.)
I tend to work when I feel most motivated and in good health so that your commission is done properly and with the best effort.
I'll always inform you if something comes up and there is a delay with the art.
I will not stream commissions.
Communication
I am not in charge of sending WIPs unless asked or I feel the need to.
Rude/disrespectful/abusive commissioners will have their commission immediately canceled with a refund based on how much of the artwork was completed already.
I expect you to be polite and kind when you're ordering a Commission! And be sure I'll be polite and kind as well!
If you would like to see a WIP (work in progress) of your commission please don't hesitate to ask.
There is no limit per order for extra WIPs. But please consider that it costs me extra time to pause work and wait for your feedback.. so please don't ask for 100+ wips.
The sketch phase is your chance to tell me what you want to be changed: expressions, details, pose, etc. Please don't be shy if something really doesn't sit well with you. I do my best to capture the character's personality but sometimes I do make mistakes, especially if it wasn't clear from the order.
Changes In Your Commission
Once the picture is finished I can do small changes such as color adjustments and/or adding tiny details I may have forgotten.
I will only make changes to the final piece if it was an error on my part (i.e. I missed a detail that you had provided in the order).
If it's a change you want and I did not have clear, obvious information when you ordered the art, I will not make the changes unless additional fees are paid (exact amount to be determined, depending on the scale of the change).
Any great changes will come with an extra charge such as poses, outfit change, outfit addition or subtraction, or anything that makes me have to redraw it completely.
The responsibility is on you to ensure your order contains the details you want me to follow. I will not redraw commissions unless payment is sent for a second order.
If your reference was unclear to start with, then you are not allowed to do minor changes without a fee. Make sure to be clear in your order what you aim for.
Important regarding Art Trades
If you are art trading with me, I expect you to treat art trades with the same priority as commissions
Art is a source of income for me to pay for necessities in my life. My art trade part has a monetary value equal to my commission prices.
If I have finished my part, it is the same as me paying for a commission.
I am generally VERY lenient in time for people to complete their art trades/commissions. If it is 3+ months, I will start requesting updates and WIPs.
If I receive no updates, etc, I will ask to be paid for my time spent on the trade as if it was a commission.
For example, if I had drawn you a chibi for the Art trade and you could not complete your part. I will ask for you to pay me my stated commission price for chibis.
Failure to pay will have you blacklisted publicly and possibly blocked. I will never do ATs with you or accept commission requests from you.
This counts as a permanent ban from everything involving my art. I will ensure that other people are warned.
Feedback
Only AFTER receiving your picture, you'll be able to give me feedback to help me improve my service and art. Please tell me what you liked and what not!
It's an OPTIONAL step, you aren't forced to do so, but I'll be grateful if you can do it.
Please let me know if you have any critique to give BUT only when you're polite, I won't answer rude comments and will add you to my blacklist.
By commissioning me, it means you have read and accepted all the terms outlined above.
You will agree to the policy of using the art for personal, non-profit purposes, or commercial use and provide all image credits to me, YumikoVT.
